Dear Newmark Colleagues,
This weekend we were all shocked by the horrific events carried out by Hamas in Israel.
Barbaric terrorism is never justified. We stand with Israel against terrorism and the targeting of innocent lives. Our condemnation is directed toward the terrorist organization, Hamas, and their supporters.
Our thoughts are with all those affected by these tragic events, and we hope for a swift resolution, peace, and stability for the region. Let us all continue to uphold the values of compassion, empathy, and unity with our fellow human beings.
Newmark is donating $1 million to charities directly providing relief locally in Israel through The Cantor Fitzgerald Relief Fund. CFRF has initially selected the charities listed below and will be adding additional charities and organizations.
Newmark will also match 100% of our employees’ donations made to CFRF by November 15, 2023, up to $5,000 per individual and $1 million in total. With your help, we can provide millions of dollars in aid to Israel.

If you would like to make a donation, please visit the www.cantorrelief.org/donate-now website.
To participate in the match, please check the “Israeli Relief Fundraiser” box and follow the prompts. You may designate a 501(c)(3) or CC4 charity providing direct relief in Israel to receive your donation and match. If not specified, your donation and match will benefit one of charities selected by CFRF. |
Together, we can positively impact and contribute to a more peaceful and inclusive world.
Sincerely,
Barry M. Gosin

BARZILAI MEDICAL CENTER – BMC is located in Ashkelon, roughly 10 miles from the Gaza border. It is responsible for the immediate care of many of the wounded to date and in the days to come, in addition to serving a population of 500,000 that is now continuously targeted by rocket attacks. Just yesterday the medical center was hit by a missile, and now forced to operate in a shelter. Barzilai treated 530 wounded patients in its emergency and operating rooms since the start of the war. Based on Barzilai’s importance in the evolving situation, the hospital’s operational and medical needs, and management’s ability to effectively deploy funds immediately and transparently, we will partner with Barzilai to help them access needed resources and maximize performance and impact, especially now that they are displaced.
UNITED HATZALAH – UH is a community-based volunteer emergency medical services (EMS) organization that provides the fastest response to medical emergencies across Israel. UH has 6500 active volunteers available 24/7, and its services are for all people in need, regardless of race, religion, or national origin.
If you have recommended charities or organizations on the ground in Israel that CFRF should look to support, please share the information with info@cantorrelief.org.
